Solgryn's Pokémon On Stream is a free application not affiliated with Nintendo made for Twitch.tv streamers, allowing their viewers to catch, collect, battle & trade Pokémon live on stream! Whenever a Pokémon appears, players are chosen to throw a Pokéball in hopes to catch it!

SPOS 3.2 Update - April 2025

New Features and Improvements:

Updated Twitch API Integration: Integrated Twitch's latest EventSub system, improving reliability and compatibility with Twitch's platform.
Enhanced Login System: The START GAME button now provides detailed status updates and has a smarter authentication system.
Cascading Authentication: The app now tries to connect using your preferred credentials in this order: Custom Bot → AutoBot → Broadcaster. This ensures you can always connect even if one account has invalid credentials.
Error Feedback: The START GAME button now shows which accounts have invalid OAuth tokens, making troubleshooting easier.
Welcome Message Fix: Fixed issues with duplicate or missing welcome messages when connecting to chat.
Custom Bot Support: Added better support for using your own custom bot for chat interactions.
Comprehensive Commands: Updated the commands page with a more complete list of all available chat commands. Check out the Commands page for the full list!
Backend Improvements: Various optimizations and code improvements for better stability and performance.

How the New Login System Works:

The new login system attempts to connect to Twitch chat using your configured accounts in a specific order:

First tries your Custom Bot (if configured)
If that fails, tries the AutoBot credentials
If both fail, tries your Broadcaster account

The START GAME button will now display detailed error messages if any accounts have invalid OAuth tokens, making it easier to identify and fix authentication issues. Once successfully connected, the welcome message will be sent exactly once to your Twitch chat.

SPOS 3.0 Update Changes

Features include:

NEW POKÉMON featuring generation 3 and onwards with custom sprites by @Nuukiie on twitter!
Be able to choose which Pokémon "set" to play with (Generation 1, 2 or 2+) with seperate saves for each.
Challenge boss trainers with modifiers or create your own.
Luck levels increased by catching Pokémon, shiny Pokémon & beating bosses. Luck increases catch chance.
Typing Effectiveness & attack move animations per type
New Auto-catch option that allows active chatters to choose to catch automatically, no !catch needed to reduce "useless" chat messages a bunch!
New '!attack with' command to attack with a specific Pokémon for more strategy!
Loads of more settings to customize the program futher.
Now shows the amount of lures a user has left in the queue!
"View Savefiles" button.
Made 2 ultra ball redeems for 1 & 5 by default.
MissingNo.'s bird typing is a stronger flying typing.
Ability to use your own custom bot.
Stack challenges such as "random shiny strong" will randomly challenge someone with their strongest shiny Pokémon.
New stat for how many wild mons a user has fainted.
Fixed infamous ultraball bug.

Generation 2.0 Updates

Features include:

Raids: Everyone can join in and attack!
Raids: Powerful Pokémon appear and reward ultraballs and increased shiny chance!
Raids: Able to make custom raids featuring more than 1 Pokémon.
Wild pokémon can evolve sometimes instead of running.
New pokémon by me including Ultra Necrozma & Jirachi!
New Pokémon including the Regi trio added!
Lures save and load now and new admin commands !lure name amount !lureshiny name amount
New consolidated breakout message option (on by default).
New setting for MissingNo. throwing all shinies when caught.
New setting for battle speed.
!stats shows you your stats
New window size setting.
New luck level multiplier setting.
